ČAČI VORBA are an original mix of Gypsy, Balkan and Carpathian traditions, their own compositions and musical remakes brimming with non-folk ideas inspired by jazz, rock, classical and film music. All this distinguishes their music from the hackneyed models of wind orchestras, Balkan-beat or tacky stylisation. It is a multifaceted combination of ethnic trans, rock dynamic, subtle jazz harmonies, and psychedelic spaces, fused by the charismatic vocals of the group’s frontwoman.
