DESCRIPTION

Nathalie teaches philosophy at a Paris high school. She is passionate about her work and gets on well with her students. Privately, her family life is every bit just as happy. One day her husband tells her that he is leaving her for another woman. Soon after Nathalie’s mother dies, and she herself loses her job.  Hansen-Løve and Isabelle Huppert created a unique portrait of a female Job. Will she – in spite of the plague of miseries – still have faith in herself and fellow human beings?
