DESCRIPTION
Franswa Jackoh is looking for the truth. Guided by the Narrator and the Voice Mail, he sets off from home to the Holocaust Museum, where, on one of Auschwitz suitcases, he recognizes the name of his father. Yet, it is not a simple walk, but a journey leading to the recovery of memory and identity. The truth, which he lacked all his life, suddenly hits him with an inconceivable force. This abrupt twist brings back memories, situations and questions that had been waiting for the answer for years.
DIRECTOR
Wawrzyniec Kostrzewski – Director, graduate of the Directing Department of the Theatre Academy in Warsaw and of the Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw. He directed performances in the Polish Theatre in Warsaw ("Liberation – essays"), the Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk (musical show "Brecht's Cackle"); you may see his performances of "Faith Healer" and "The Banality of Love" at Teatr Dramatyczny in Warsaw.
