DESCRIPTION

A group of astronauts sets off for the Moon on a quest for a new place to live. As a result of technical problems, the explorers forever lose the opportunity to return to Earth. Therefore, they decide to start their own civilization on the Silver Globe. Even following severe censorship cuts, the unfinished work is a fascinating study of the formation of a new religion and mythology. The film was based on the "Moon Trilogy" by Jerzy Żuławski, one of the first Polish authors of science-fiction novels and great-uncle to Andrzej Żuławski.
