DESCRIPTION
The film’s protagonist, Ball, is a Thai 30-year-old who lives his life to the fullest. He gives in to the temptations of Bangkok nightlife: partying, company, drinking. However, ancient tradition requires that young men temporarily join a monastery to prove their maturity and face strict Buddhist rules. So now Ball is going to spend two weeks in a secluded monastery surrounded by the sea, following spiritual guidance of monks.

Rafał Skalski (1985) Graduate of the Direction Department at the National Film School in Łódź. His documentary debut, "52 Percent" (2007) won the Golden Hobby Horse at the 47th Krakow Film Festival. He also directed, among others: short documentary “Girls” (2009), medium-length documentary “Lovers” (2010), 30-minute-long “Play with me” (2010), as well as documentary-comic “Zdzisław Pacak-Kuźmirski” as part of the “Wartime Portraits” series (2014).
