DESCRIPTION
An incredible story of a jazzman Fabian (Maciej Stuhr) who comes back to Poland from England at the end of the 1950s. and, with a group of eccentric musicians, starts a swing big-band. Modesta (Natalia Rybicka) becomes the star of the band and they become very successful. The musician quickly falls head over heels in love with the femme fatale singer. They soon start an affair. As the king and the queen of swing they start touring Poland and their life takes a colorful turn. Will their feelings last?

DIRECTOR
Janusz Majewski (1931) Director, screenwriter, playwright. Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Krakow University of Technology and of the National Film School in Łódź, where has has been lecturer for many years now. He has made more than 30 feature films, and his "Hotel Pacific" vied for the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival. Since 2012 he has held the function of the rector at the Warsaw Film School.FILMOGRAPHY
