DESCRIPTION
Vigorous and brilliant comedy by the master of the genre, Pietro Germi. The leading role is performed by Fefé Cefalu, a Sicilian middle-aged aristocrat. The man, disappointed and bored with his marriage, endows young, attractive Angela with a keen regard. Divorce is not an option, as in the 60s the Italian legislation did not allow such a solution. It provided, however, for an extraordinary leniency for the husband who would murder his wife after finding out that he cheated on him. Therefore, the Baron decides to find an irresistible lure for his wife.
