A series of conversations between a mother and a daughter. The mother (66) is a doctor and a devout, practicing Catholic. The daughter (35) is an atheist and the mother of two children conceived through IVF. Although the grandmother loves her grandchildren, she considers this form of assisted reproductive technology unacceptable.
Julia Staniszewska – A visual artist and graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Julia Staniszewska is currently working on her Ph.D at Warsaw’s Academy of Fine Arts. Her works have been exhibited in a number of galleries, including the Louvre in Paris, the PROGR in Bern and the Centre for Contemporary Art and Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw. She is the author of two series of photographs, “The Residents of Bryła Street”, “Warsaw Non-Central” and of two books “Paris-Warsaw. 24 Hours Without Stopping” and “Restaurant”.
