DESCRIPTION
The film tells the story of the ups and downs of Janusz Kofta, a prominent poet and author of lyrics. It is also a picture of a peculiar generation who managed, despite the hardships of living in the Polish People's Republic, to find reserves of freedom in student clubs, art, authored creations and get-togethers. The film takes viewers to that world, to the places close to the protagonist and his friends. Those places and moments, registered on a film reel, transport them to the old “Hybrydy” student club, to the Academy of Fine Arts, and to the little toom of the cabaret “Pod Egidą”.
