"The Internal Ear" is a story about musical improvisation that presents the contemporary international jazz scene. The movie is hosted by Mikołaj Trzaska (composer, saxophonist, clarinetist). His artistic biography and the independent, uncompromising path that he follows, constitute the starting point of the narration. The film points at areas, inspiration and roots that are the building blocks of improvised music.
