Clélia, a talented photojournalist, sets out to Paris with her sick mother. To pay for her treatment, the protagonist decides to take a well-paid, but unsatisfying job at a tabloid agency. Nevertheless, she does not give up her aspirations, which, combined with her phenomenal beauty, makes her an object of masculine attraction. Eventually, Clélia decides to marry Cleve, a well-off editor of children's books. Just before the wedding, however, she meets a fervent, predatory paparazzo, who fascinates her.
