DESCRIPTION
In the play, which made its ways to the finals of the Gdynia Drama Awards in 2012, the author tries to confront the legend of the Solidarity. We learn its history, from the August strikes, the martial law and the papal visit until the present day, by the adventures encountered by the young protagonist Grażyna. After completing her studies and spending the holiday at the seaside in 1980, she starts a job at one of the plants in Lower Silesia, where she joins the newly formed union.
DIRECTOR
Adam Sajnuk (1976) Founder, actor and director of Teatr Konsekwentny, currently artistic director of Teatr WARSawy. He directed several dozens of performances and starred in many as well, including "Zaliczenie.Lekcja" [Test. Lesson], "Kochankowie z sąsiedztwa" [Lovers from the neighborhood], 'Sztuka" [Art], "Zaklęte rewiry." [Hotel Pacific] For directing "Portnoy's Complaint" (together with Aleksandra Popławska) he received the Feliks Warszawski Award.
