Modernized adaptation of "Kosmos" by Witold Gombrowicz and at the same time most successful attempt to transfer the prose of the author of "Ferdydurke" to the big screen. Young men, Witold and Fuks, get to a secluded guest house. The area abounds in extraordinary events: they find hanged sparrow, they are taken aback by odd signs in the garden and intrigued by distorted lips of a maid. To make matters worse, Witold falls in love with a married woman. Where will it all lead, and when will a man hang instead of a sparrow? "Cosmos", the latest film by Andrzej Żuławski, is considered to be the artistic legacy of the director.
