DESCRIPTION

Anna is fed up with her middle-class life. She persuades her husband to try an experiment: together they decide to set up a hippie commune in an unexpectedly inherited grand villa. However, friendship, love, and tolerance in the group is tested when Anna’s husband confides his plans to her:  he wants a much younger girl that he fell in love with to join the commune.  Vinterberg himself spent his childhood with his parents in a hippie community, which allowed him to portray his protagonists and the circumstances they find themselves in with deep insight.
