JANUSZ PRUSINOWSKI KOMPANIA are students and successors of folk musicians and an avant-garde group with their own unique sound and language of improvisation. Music is combined with dance, archaism with modernity, and tours with educational activities. After years of local performances musical adventures throughout the world, these musicians and dancers now play both across the oceans and in their old country. Their music makes skirts fly above the roofs and shoes wear out at an increased rate. The spontaneous reaction from the audience often turns their concerts into dance parties. Their characteristic style is a new interpretation of the most important elements of central Poland folk music.
