DESCRIPTION

An unforgettable comedy starring the great comedian Adolf Dymsza and the talented and beautiful Maria Bogda, who was acclaimed the most beautiful Polish woman in the 1929 plebiscite. Dymsza, impersonating Wincenty Poziomka in love, gives a blazing spectacle of acting, full of crazy humor, though with a sense of boundaries of the absurd. The film also starred comedian Kazimierz Krukowski (known as Lopek), a multi-talented pet actor of pre-war Warsaw's cabarets and the central figure of hundreds of hilarious anecdotes. The film stands out due to the unpretentious script by Marian Hemar and the song "Nic takiego [Nothing special] with its music written by Henryk Wars, a tune still hummed by the nex Polish generations.
