The incredible atmosphere of the festival town in Kazimierz Dolny will once again create an opportunity to meet with outstanding artists from Poland and abroad, and to get to know their works.
This year’s “And God created actor” will focus on Bogusław Linda – an actor who has created his own unique style in Polish cinema. We will present films by Andrzej Żuławski (including his newest and last film: “Cosmos”), films featuring Marcello Mastroianni and directed by Ettore Scola – one of the most interesting Italian filmmakers, author of such films as “A Special Day,” “The Pizza Triangle,” “The Terrace.”
Moreover, we are planning “Cinema Lessons – Confession of a Filmmaker,” which are meetings with outstanding artists, among whom we will find Piotr Dumała and Wojciech Staroń. Each evening at the Small Market Square one can watch screenings of the best films from the previous season, and a concert at the Big Market square (admission free).

Artistic Director of the Two Riversides Film and Art Festival
The previous edition in Kazimierz Dolny and Janowiec was visited by filmmakers from all over the world. Margarethe von Trotta invited the audience to her own retrospective, and Magnus von Horn opened the screening of his debut, „The Here After.” Polish stars were there, too: Jerzy Skolimowski and Adam Woronowicz personally inaugurated their retrospectives. Apart from them, Two Riversides also hosted Jan Englert, Jerzy Stuhr, Grażyna Szapołowska, and Ewa Wiśniewska, among others. Next year we will be raising this bar even higher.
The 10th Film and Art Festival Two Riversides will last from July 30th until August 7th 2016. See you in Kazimerz Dolny and Janowiec at the anniversary edition!
