DESCRIPTION
A documentary film devoted to one of the most prominent contemporary Polish poets. The film authors revive the biography of Ryszard Krynicki: his relations with the New Wave generation, his friendship with Stanisław Barańczak, his resistance involvement and the repressions he suffered. Famous for his reluctance to confess his thought and quasi pertinacious taciturnity, this time Krynicki agreed to tell us about his life paths.
DIRECTOR
Adam Sikora (1960) Director of photography and producer graduated from the Director of Photography Department at the National Film School in Łódź. As a cinematographer, he works with Lech Majewski, and it is to this cooperation that we owe such productions as “Wojaczek” and “Młyn i krzyż” [The Mill and the Cross]. Winner of many awards, including the Eagles for his cinematography in "Angelus" (2001) and Golden Lions for cinematography in “Essential Killing” (2010).FILMOGRAPHY
